The line where mother's name would be written states that the child was born to a woman who was not married to the father, was not related to him, and does not wish to be named.

The margin note states that on 11 June 1897 Vito Poma was recognized as the son of Antonino Poma and Maria Arena.

The second notation looks to be a marriage to Giovanna Lettile on 11 December 1909.
