Note there are birth, marriage, and death records for Paolo Gervasi, "father" of Sebastiano (and other children).

For what it's worth, Sebastiano (b.1844) had a son Paolo, presumably named after the grandfather

So, it's still unresolved as to who was the father of Sebastiano Gervasi or am I missing something?
