Hello, could someone help with the translation of death of Pellegrino Menozzi in Part C of the death registry from 1913 in Virgilio (Borgo Virgilio). Recent add of the registries for this area now going out into the 1940's. When discussing with the commune sometime back they were able to locate the individual card of him that notated a death in 1910. I could not locate him in the death registry for that year, but then found this one. Assuming that means he died somewhere else and it took time for the record to make it to the town he was living in.
The entry starts at the bottom of this page and continues on to the next...

Thank you T.
With that info, I was able to find the original from Mantova : https://antenati.cultura.gov.it/ark:/12 ... 73/0nRVOoA
This must have been a major town center, I don't believe in my northern Italy family I've ever seen as many entries in a registry for a single year.
Also just sharing as it relates to this region for others I found a post on the facebook page Archivio di Stato di Mantova from July 6th clarifying the load of over 2 million images...
From 26 June 2023, the digital images of the Italian civil status of Mantua after 1900 have been available online: 2,028,450 images relating to 19,180 registers kept at the Court of Mantua, dated from 1901 to 1945.
With this intervention, the Italian Civil Status of Mantua is completely available online.

Happy to help!
In the link you posted I looked at several other records and it appears that the deaths registered before and after Pellegrino also died at the same address (Corso Vittorio Emmanuele #27) which appears to be a hospital/care center. Reported by the Head of the Civico Spedale and Pia Casa Esposti at that address.

Re: Translation help Death record - Pellegrino Menozzi
Thank you. Makes sense so perhaps was sick and went to the larger city for care and passed away there.
My great great uncle (his brother) had a death in part II / B as well, but in Rodigo. The commune had provided and was translated previously, but now that the full archives are online....
Am I see something similar in his entry and the ones around it, that he passed away in the hospital or care facility likely?
