Looking for my great grandfather's naturalization
Hi! I am looking for my husband's great grandfather's naturalization paperwork.
Info:
Person's name (with alternate spellings): Michele Arcangelo Graziadei (on his birth certificate)
Michael Palmo Graziadei in his documents in the states, Michel Graziadei, I’ve also seen Michael Gratti on the census.
Date and place of birth: All his US records indicate 19 MAR 1894 • Laurenzana, Potenza, Italy but his birth certificate says 23 March 1894.
Name of spouse & children: Ida Buono (Ida Olga Maria Buono), kids were Rocco, Oscar Tomaso, Italio Salvatore (later renamed Tom Gray), Michael F (I think Francis), Silvio Albert, and Phyllis Ann.
Approximate year of arrival: 1909 (but could be 1907)
Place of residence when naturalized (city, county, etc.): Buffalo, New York
Approximate date of naturalization: Between 1930-1940 (Census records show him as an alien in 1930 but naturalized by 1940.)
Lived in Buffalo, Erie, New York (WWII records show 404 Potomac Ave, Buffalo) and prior to that he was in Boston Mass (but not at the time I believe he requested and obtained citizenship.)
He died 31 Oct, 1951 in Buffalo.
Can anyone help me find his Declaration of intention/petition for naturalization?
Thank you!

Dates don't match but could this be him?
Father named Rocco and brother Egipto?
Do you have a signature to compare?

This one was born in the right place in 1892 but lived and died in Chicago.

Here is the birth in 1894 in Laurenzana... verifying father as Rocco Graziadei.

Is there an Egipto born c.1900 to same parents?
Is it possible the Michele born in 1894 died and the name was reused c.1901?

Is this the Michele you found, Erudita? Same wife?

His birth year matches the records I found.

Brother's name is Egidio. Parents are Rocco and Rosa, so the documents I posted appear to be for some other Michele, perhaps a cousin.

Re: Looking for my great grandfather's naturalization
Here's a scant clue of marginal utility. It references a border crossing in 1931, indicating that Michael is already a US citizen.

@darkerhorse, thank you so much for doing all that footwork! I lost my computer and haven't been able to log back in until now because I forgot the username and password.
That's def not him, but it verifies more what I believe, that Michael never naturalized. He lists himself as naturalized in 1940 on the census, but I figure anyone could say that, it didn't mean they were. I am still waiting to hear back from USCIS but NARA can't find anything for him. I'm thinking he never did.
