Looking for help with a marriage cert translation

Post by JohnBhoy »

Hi all,

Been a while, I would welcome a little help to translate a 'side note' in a marriage cert for one of my ancestors please.

Entry number 5 on this page https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903 ... at=1019419

I have all the other info but just don't know what this bit says,

Thanking you in advance for any help.

Kind regards,
John

The side notes refer to the marriage publications which were posted to insure that there were no impediments to the marriage. The first one was posted on March 7, 1886, a Sunday. Then it was replaced by the second one -also posted on a Sunday, the 14th. The last one was posted on the 17th, and this last one remained on the door of the town hall for three days. After that point, the marriage could take place.
