Can I get a translation...

Post by RobininStl »

Could I get some help with the translation of the highlighted area? Specifically, I'm looking at where the husband's family is from. The record is from Monreale, Sicily. I'm attaching an unhighlighted as well.

Thank you. Robin

Hello!
I read "della terra di San Peri di Patti".
Now, I think Peri is Sicilian for Pietro, and there exists a town named "San Piero Patti"

I agree with Pippo. San Piero Patti is a municipality in the Metropolitan City of Messina
