Mother's Death Inquiry

Caterina Colajanni__1892 Death Record--No. 92 Img.679

Husband- Benedetto D'Angelo shown is correct.
Her Parents are confirmed-- Genuelfa Rizzo/Francesco Colajanni

Their two sons Giovanni and Pasquale D'Angelo both Married in 1886,both indicate their Mother Caterina Colajanni is Dead on yhor 1886 Marriage documents below links.

Can't understand why would both brothers list their Mother a Dead ???

It appears to be corrected on Giovanni's marriage (box around the "ella fu" leaving just "d" with and "a" in circle.

Not sure why it was not corrected in Pasquale's -
