Find naturalization record for Evangelista Lorusso

When he took a vacation back to see his family in Italy in 1955, the ship record stated that Evangelista Lorusso was naturalized on June 6, 1930 in NY, NY.. See attachment. I cannot find the actual Naturalization record.

On her Naturalization record, it states that she was born in Canbebesseen, Italy. I don't think that's correctly spelled as I cannot find that town. I have never been able to find her Italian birth record. Her maiden name is Fariello. daughter of Rocco Fariello and Filomena Scarola. Her Social Security record states that she was born in Carpinone, but I couldn't find her birth record there either.

That misspelling of the town on Mariantonia's naturalization paper "sounds" like Campobasso to me.
In addition, the town of Carpinone is only about 30 km from Campobasso. So perhaps she was born in the area?

As to Evangelista's naturalization...

Thanks for the info. Mariantonia Fariello was born on February 7, 1903 and is not listed in the 1903 Campobasso records for that year.

Yes, I checked Campobasso records after I posted. There do not appear to be ANY Fariello in the records.

I have been looking at Grumo Appula, the last residence stated on the naturalization paper.
There are many Fariello listed. Unfortunately, the birth acts are only available through 1900.
I found a child born to a Rocco Fariello in 1898, but the mother is not Filomena Scarola - instead it is Anna Spano. Since the Fariello name is common in the town, there are probably several Rocco...lol.

Mariantonia Fariello was the youngest of 9 children. I have the birth records, and in some cases the death records, of the other 8 children. Several towns were involved - Grumo Appula (first 3 children born there), Pisciotto (one child born there), and Carpinone (which was the town where the four sisters closest in age to her were born). Grumo Appula was the town where her parents were born and married, and where her father died in 1944. Birth records for Carpinone on Antenati end with 1899. However, I wrote to the town and they gave me the birth record of a sister that was born in 1900 but had nothing for my grandmother Mariantonia Fariello.

Records in Carpinone only available through 1899. Since she was born in 1903, you will need to write to the town. It is likely that is where she was born, since those closest in age to her were also born there.
