RE: BIRTH RECORD IN MURO LUCANO POTENZA

CHECKING THE WWW.ANTENATI@BENICULTURALI.IT SITE IN THE PROVINCE OF POTENZA. LOOKING FOR A BIRTH RECORD FOR GIUSEPPE LOGRIPPO IN MURO LUCANO IN DECEMBER 1867. PROBLEM IS MURO LUCANO ISN'T FOUND IN ANY OF THE SEARCH CATEGORIES. MAKES NO SENSE AS ALL THE OTHER COMUNES IN POTENZA SEEM TO BE HERE. I SEE ONE ENTRY FOR A MURO IN RESTAURAZIONE I BELIEVE(MURO LUCANO?) BUT IT ONLY GOES UP TO 1860. IS ANYONE OUT THERE FAMILIAR WITH THIS AREA AND THE RECORDS?

thanks for checking. actually i just found it there. but surprised it wasn't found in the records for muro lucano at the www.antenati@beniculturali.it site.

All good. The bmd's (from 1866-1910) for the Province of Potenza have been online at Family Search since about 2013. There are death records for some of the towns post 1910 at Ancestry.com. If I remember rightly they go to about 1938. The earlier records, 1809-1865 have been online at the Italian site for about three years or so. Glad you were able to find the record.
