help with translation of birth record

Post by aviano8587 »

Does anyone have a moment to help with translating the birth extract of Carmela D'Aveni, it is image # 2667 - number 16, year 1901 on familysearch.org births 1866-1939 Novara di Sicilia
I understand bits and pieces of it but can not put it together.

Carmela D'Aveni was born in Brigue Oct 15 1900
Father Giuseppe, miner, from Novara di Sicilia
Mother Maria Affannato from Novara di Sicilia

Birth registered in Novara di Sicilia on July 2 1901

The birth act, which is in French, does not states where Brigue is, I believe it could be in Switzerland, where there is a Gold Mine

Hello Aviano8587! I am a Great-Niece of Rose D'Aveni! My mom, RoseMary, was her niece! I have extensive research on the D'Aveni's going back to around 1747 in Novara! Please PM me and I will share with you what I have!!!!!!

Grazie!
