60 to 70 years ago when I was young, my Italian relatives, when frustrated, would use a word that phonetically sounds like

Fa nob la. I do not know the actual spelling of this word.

I know it's not the American "F" word, because I am familiar with the Italian version of that. Does anyone know how that word is spelled in Italian and what it means?

There was another expression that used to get my grandmother angry when said. Phonetically it sounded like

K Cots. Anyone know the spelling and meaning of that word?
