I SEE NOTHING AT FAMILY SEARCH OR ANTENATI SITES FOR CIVIL REGISTRATION AFTER 1865 FOR RODI MESSINA. LOOKING FOR BIRTH OF FILIPPO PALANO IN RODIMESSINA OCTOBER 1905. ANY POINTERS OR SUGGESTIONS APPRECIATED.

Ask for the birth certificate from the Municipality of Rodì.

i know that but i was hoping vital records would have been filmed for rodi as many other comunes in messina extend well past 1865. usually there are 3 sections at antenati. the early napoleonic records,the restoration,and the civil records which continue after 1865. i like to do my own research so not being able to go beyond 1865 is frustrating. and if some of these comunes have post 1865 records why not put them out there? doesn't make much sense.
