Help to find another relative

Post by BriHargan »

My grandma mentioned my grandpa had a cousin “giuanine” I’m wondering how that would actually be spelled if it’s Italian. I was thinking my grandpa’s aunt was named Crocifissa Giovaninna di Maria born February 21st, 1903 to parents Michele di Maria and Maria Cerrone in Santa Croce del Sannio Benevento Italy. Could someone link me her birth act if it’s online please? It is on family search.org but it would be nice to view the document. But also my grandpa has an uncle Carmine di Maria born may 24th 1899 to parents Michele di Maria and Maria Cerrone. I was thinking my grandpas cousin is from that side the “giuanine” but I could be wrong but this is where my thought process is. Is Carmine di maria and his wife Antonia Capozzi online for their children? Also is there any other info on crocifissa giovannina Di Maria? I’m one - trying to find the Giuanine connection and 2 find relatives from my great grandpa Sebastiano Di Maria born September 18, 1894 to parents Michele di Maria and Maria Cerrone. Because to my knowledge only Carmine and his brother (my great grandpa Sebastiano Di Maria) came to the US because my grandpa and family knew Carmine and had photos of him. (They also shared a very cool photo of their fatherMichele di Maria born in 1865) I was just looking for the giuanine connection thinking maybe Carmine named a child giuinine after his sister, or if my grandpa’s cousin “giuinine” is a child of Crocifissa giovaninna’s and I just don’t have much info on her. Thank you

Here’s the link to Crocifissa Giovannina’s birth act:

If you would like to experience the thrill of finding records yourself here’s the link to the birth acts in Santa Croce year by year from 1809 to 1915. (Few years missing)
https://antenati.cultura.gov.it/search- ... _ss%3ANati

Weddings from 1809 to 1860 and from 1931 to 1942 (1810, 1818 and 1855 missing)
https://antenati.cultura.gov.it/search- ... AMatrimoni

Deaths from 1809 to 1860 and from 1931 to 1942 (1814 missing)

Try, if you wish, and if you’re having problems we’ll be here for you and help you locating the acts if available online.
