Antonietta's father Angelo was a bricklayer. It is in keeping with his profession that he died falling from a roof.

Information on Giovanni Soggia's life, as well as from the Arolsen Archives, can be obtained from the Matricular Roll (military draft). This can be obtained from the State Archives in Padua.

Thank you very much - back to work today finished my holiday, hence the late thank you. I will have a look at the military draft archives - also see if any old newspaper archives. I am going to download all the files you have sent me tonight and get them in order before I go to bed.

Giordano Tommasin (father of Angelo) - link, can see so much information - looks like many of his siblings died but I can not read or translate his occupation - tried a few translation apps. It looks like it begins with Vill? Thanks

Re: Soggia Family who married Hebridean Soldier in Padova
I am on my last part of the tree - you kindly sent me these links and I think I can see Teresa father is Sante Mazzucato on both documents - unless I am reading them wrong. I have looked through about 190 pages of the military roles for Padua for Mazzucato and I can not see a Sante on the role. Have I the correct name and did Teresa come from Padua - Thank yoummogno wrote: 10 Mar 2025, 01:05 Foglio di Famiglia. Giordano Tommasin (father of Angelo)
