He presented a baby girl born from Lucia Maresca, his legitimate wife, 29 yo, living with him and (born) from himself the declarant, details as above. Baby was born on 9 September 1845 at 10 pm in their own home and was given the name of Maria Valeria Filomena di Marino?

Yes, it is very clearly written "Maria Valeria Filomena di Marino" but that is not the issue. The reason I added the question mark is because the record lacks consistency. The father's name is Raffaele Esposito not Raffaele di Martino. The father's name appears on the next page also, as Raffaele Esposito. It seems to me that they have written the baby's surname incorrectly. It should state Maria Valeria Filomena Esposito. I don't see any notation on the record referring to a name correction so it's a bit of a mystery.

I haven't got time at the minute to look for the indices, which might help clear this up.

Hi, thanks for the translation, I found the index and her last name was listed as Esposito. Her father Raffaele is my 3rd Great Grandfather, he was an abandoned child, parents unknown.
