Military Transcript

Post by porta1412 »

Hi all,

Can someone please help me understand this military record. Ive attached the original and transcript version. I dont understand why the dates are all mixed up. Showing he was called to arms on November 15th 1920, but on March 10th 1920 assigned to the R.R.G.G. Caserta Legion?

Can someone please explain to me what the R.R.G.G. Caserta and Spezia legions were?

I was told he was a medic but no where does it say he was.

Thanks all

RR GG is the plural form of R G, which stands for Regia Guardia di pubblica sicurezza (Royal Public Security Guard).

Hi mmongo,
thanks for the response, much appreciated.
What was the purpose of this group? Again he always said he was a medic but on the document no where does it say he was a medic. Also why are the dates mixed up in order?
Thanks
