22 Sept 1872, Santo Stefano Quisquina
Alfonso Lodato, son of Giuseppe and Angela Saverina.
Maria Infantone, daughter of Salvatore and deceased Rosalina Mortellaro
However, I've been unable to locate the civil record, was hoping to get a 2nd set of eyes to see if it's just missing.
I am hoping to get an age on the Alfonso to see if he is match for another child of Giuseppe/Angela (Stefano Alfonso).
Thank you!

Re: Help finding civil marriage record
Hi
Their Civil Marriage is not mentioned anywhere in the indices that I looked at and I went right through to 1910. It is possible that they didn't have a Civil Marriage? Did they have children? Maybe search for any children born to this couple, and post the records here, and we will take a look at what they say. If they had a civil marriage much later there should be an annotation to the Birth Record noting if/when the child/ren were legitimised through (civil) marriage.

They have one child I know of - Giuseppe - https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903 ... 77&lang=en - lower left.
I struggle to read/understand these older records, but I can see the father is Alfonso, age 25, which would be circa 1849. Haven't been able to make out much else from the record.
I haven't found a birth record for Alfonso. His parents appear to be from the neighboring town Bivona, and there's an index for a 1847 birth record in Bivona for a Stefano Alfonso: https://www.familysearch.org/en/tree/so ... M4?context. However, I can't see the record to check if there's an annotation.
And I don't think antentati portale would have any annotations.

I've had a quick look and I'll come back to it as I am in the middle of something else. I'm understanding that he had the baby with a woman who did not want to be named. I'll recheck that it is the same Alfonso shortly.

Re: Help finding civil marriage record
I've had another look. There is not really a lot of information to go on there really to verify whether or not he actually is the same Giuseppe Lodato. It seems like he may have been but I don't know enough of your history to be absolutely certain. This Alfonso Lodato was also the son of a Giuseppe, and yes as you say he was 25 yo so born circa 1849. His occupation was industrioso ie manufactuerer/trader. As I said he wasn't married to the woman he had the baby with.
Hopefully someone else can chime in on this one.
