RE: BAD REQUEST NOTIFICATIONS
it seems every time i try to log in to this site,or try to compose a post,i'm blocked with a "bad request" notification. the only solution seems to be clearing out the cache, but this means resetting my passwords and log in information everywhere. start all over again. i was told a bad request notification would be resolved by clearing cache, but should cache have to be cleared every time i log in here or try to post? then i have to start the process all over again. anyone else having this problem?
Re: RE: BAD REQUEST NOTIFICATIONS
I have the same issue. When I write a post, I usually copy it before submitting it, to be able to paste it in case of error.
After a couple of tries, it works, eventually (some time ago, it didn't work at all).

Re: RE: BAD REQUEST NOTIFICATIONS
i do the same. copy and paste. but it makes the whole process frustrating and time consumimg. no one here seems to have a definitive answer. having to go through this regular process of continually clearing cache and cookies seems unecessary and pointless.

I been having this problem too. I just keep coming back into site and posting. After several tries it works. It is frustrating.

Hello
Are you all still having “Bad Request Notifications”? If not, how did you fix it.
I’ve also been getting them, and went through the process of clearing cookies etc but it didnn’t help.
Last week, I spoke to a family member, who is a web site developler, about the issue. He felt that the type of error I was getting was a site problem and not my computer or browser.
Are there others on the forum having this problem too. Has anyone been able to fix it? How?

@mmogno
Hello G, thank you so much for the reply. I’ve been having exactly the same issues as you since mid to late April this year. I have wasted so much time posting, reposting ..... and reposting yet again. (I never give up – it’s just not in my nature.)
I did send a message to info@italiangenealogy.com, in late April, to let them know what was happening but never heard back, so maybe the message didn’t get through. (In the past when there have been issues on the site I have always addressed my message to Edmondo and he always promptly gets back to me and fixes whatever is wrong. I haven’t followed up since my message, because I know he has family, and didn’t want to pester him. I’ll send another email tomorrow and address it to Edmondo)
(My family member said that when you get that type of error there’s a “bug in the system”.)

Site Issue Resolved
Just following up. I am no longer having issues with the forum. I sent an email, as I said I would, to Edmondo, late yesterday, and as per usual he promptly fixed the issue. Big thanks Edmondo!!!
Best to everyone.
