1930 census
In the 1930 census the column that ask naturalization and they answered AL which I guess means alien. do this mean that they never became a citizen and their would be no naturalization papers for them. img128.imageshack.us/i...gexyh9.jpg under the name John or Anthony Antonacci

Re: 1930 census
Hi Debra,
With all your different post, I'm not sure if this has been answered or not.
John appears to have been naturalized prior to the 1930. Anthony is an alien, but could have naturalized sometime after the census was taken.
And I thought this site was provided, so you could check for their naturalization records in NY. If not, I apologize for not providing it earlier.

Hope this answers your question & helps.

A.Antonacci in Montreal,Quebec,Canada in 1920
Hi!
You might want to check for some Canadian records of the Antonacci family. I have come across that surname in some Montreal records while researching my family.
For instance....
There was an A.Antonacci living at 2133 St-Hubert street in Montreal,Quebec,Canada in 1920 according to the Lovell Montreal Directory.
Check this link:

You might want to check all the other books for the different years. Go to the following link:

Good Luck,
Mike

Re: 1930 census
If it says Il it not him, He went to to Bronx, I really can't make out what is says about who he is meeting I know it says meeting his brother Giovanni but I thought it says Bronx, the other person thought IL, if it IL it not Antonio, what do you think it says. Debboenuccia wrote:DebraRose,
