Paliani/Simoni

I have found a Natalia J. Paliani and Olivia Simoni from Italy. I am just looking for more info on both of them. Paliani's mom may have been a testa or cesta. Thanks for any help you can give me.

What i have on Paliani is: Natalia J. "Jim" Paliani, DOB: Sep 8, 1869 Birth place: Patrica,Italy, Died: Feb 4, 1960 Los Angeles, Father ? Paliani and Mother was a Testa or Cesta. Most of this info is from Ancestry.com.
Immigrated or arrived on Apr 22, 1898 got this from ellis island.com also info from 1910 and 1920 census.

Olivia Simoni : Born Abt. 1885. Residence Patrica, Italy, arrived in US Dec 29, 1906, 1910 and 1920 census. Same places found ancestry.com and ellis island.

found a note somewhere that they were married abt. 1904. in the Census' I found the names of about 7 children, one of which is my husbands grandfather.

I am really wanting to know about their relatives in Italy. The parents and siblings, grandparents, dates and places. I dont know where to look to find stuff for Italy. Im new to this whole genealogy thing. Thanks again for your help

For birth acts & marriages & deaths not included in the films, you can write to:

The standard title would be,

That does make sense, but why do the LDS films say "Ufficio dello Stato Civile?"

Even the form letter that we provide a link to has the address as "Ufficio dello Stato Civile."

Perhaps there is no difference.......I do not live in Italy.....but are Italian posters do, and they use di instead of dello.......

Antonio Testa (also in the USA 1909-1912) mentions that his wife in Italy is Giuseppina "Paleani" ..
