Hi There..

Can you give us a bit more information on what your research goals are? Are you interested in American, Italian or British records? Do you have any first names or possible ages, siblings, parents names or place of immigration? All the little details will help us help you better.

Look forward to your reply...

Hi thanks for the reply, The names originate from Italy from the Matera Region.

Laviero
Maria Laviero was born in 28 Oct 1897 in San Mauro Italy and was married to Vito Caresimo (born 13 Sep 1901 again in San Mauro Forte, Italy)

GINOSA
I have no information regarding Ginosa except that it is possible there is a connection between Maria Laviero and the surname Ginosa.

GIAMMETTA

With the Giammetta surname my Grandfather was Mauro Giammetta born 10 Aug 1907 San Mauro forte and married Angela Sanchirico (02 Aug 1907) on 12 Jan 1930 in San Mauro Forte Italy

Mauro Giammetta above actually took his mother's surname (Teresa Giammetta) his father was Michele Moscato and mother was Teresa Giammetta she was born in 02 Jun 1865 and in turn was the daughter of Rocco Giammetta born 04 Oct 1812

Hope you can help and thanks again for the reply

My ancestor

Andrea Ginosa married Francesca di Nuzzi
about 1760
San Mauro Forte

they had

Marcantonio Ginosa (Born 1764 San Mauro died 11 July 1814 San Mauro)
married 1795 San Mauro Forte
Lucia TROILO (born 1774 San Mauro died 20 Oct 1824 San Mauro) daughter of Alessandro Troilo & Margherita Privignano

they had

Alessandro Ginosa (born 22 Feb 1807 San Mauro)
married as his second wife
27 July 1854 at Macchia di Isernia
Maria Grazia MAISTO (born Crispano. Provincia di Napoli)

Any of these names sound familiar?
