Hi Rocco,

You can count on everyone on this forum to help you anyway we can!

From your response, I am assuming that the records are for your Raymond D' Amore., so the birth town is SANT'ANDREA DI CONZA (suanj, thanks :D ).

To trace the family in this town, you can order/rent the LDS films for Sant'Andrea Di Conza's civil records (birth, marriage & death acts) which cover the years 1809-1910.

Here is a list of the available films.

http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Library ... ato+civile++

Locate your nearest LDS-Family History Center:

http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Library ... et_fhc.asp

A guide to obtaining the films:

http://italiangenealogy.tardio.com/Foru ... =2581.html

And to help translate the records, two genealogical word lists:

Italian-English

http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Search/ ... Italia.ASP

Latin-English

http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Search/ ... LLatin.ASP

Hope this helps & if you need anything else, at anytime, just ask.

Rocco,

How far back have you traced your family tree? I am a D'Amore as well. I have my great grandparents infomation but I have had a horrible time trying to do further research because everybody died of an early age.

The D'Amore side I am tracing is from the Abruzzi region. Let me know and maybe there is a common link down the road.

Looking for information on the names:
D'Amore, DeLuca, Cordova, Russo, Petrino, DiGiacomo
