Looking for records of an ancestor from Messina Sicily

Like many others I'm trying to find some distant relatives from Sicily.
My Grandfather Paul / Pasquale / Tripoli born in Messina Sicily in 1894 and migrated to the United States between 1899 and 1905 arriving in New York.
Im trying to find some birth records or something that would indicate the names etc. of his birth parents. Can anybody help with how I should go about obtaining such documents.

Also, my Grandmothers, Pauls wife, parents were Giuseppe Terrizzi and Grace Terrizzi. grace mainden name was Paone. Both migrated as a married couple in the 1890's to New York from Torregratta Italy. I would also like to know their birth place and birth parents.

Any ideas what I should do?

Wow amazing how quick you do this. My fathers name is Bartolo / Bartolomeow. I never thought that My Grandfathers fathers name would be the same. this must be true because Paolino (Paul) Is Anthony's brother (Alias Uncle Tony) Paul is a WW1 vet and was a Coal Miner in Cambria PA.
It took me a week to find what you did in an hour. YOUR AMAZING. This is getting exciting now. I have what you have. I have the cencus information and all for both parties in the USA.
I guess what I would like is to play this out as far as we can.
Can you find out what Paolino's and Anthony's mothers name and origin is and so on? Paul and Tony are not the only brothers. Below is the family living together in PA. One confusing thing. Anna Terrizzi is Paolinos wife I think the Dentz family you see has Anna at 14 years old. The rest of the Dentz are my aunts and uncles first names. So how does she become a Dentz from a Terrizzi? Or a Terrizi from a Dentz?. Im going to attach some more stuff too.

You're right the dentz is confusing, they're back to being
Terrizzi's in 1930.
Do you suppose the name was taken down incorrectly

Did you find Paul's manifest - if after 1906 he may have listed his
mother as his relative in Italy.
Did anyone besides Paul & Tony come to the US?
If so, their manifests would be a good place to look too.

If you think Dentz is confusing wait until you hear this! my grandmother, who I know as Anna Terrizzi has her last name spelled on my fathers birth certificate as Derrizzi and it's a clear "D" I heard from my sister that my uncle Pete Dentz / Terrizzi changed his name from Dentz to Terrizzi. Maybe they all did huh?
Somewhere on the Ancestry.com site I found Paul Tripolis military enlistment record which along side his name was his 3 or 4 brothers names and guess what I can't find it again. Then again this gets awful confusing so maybe I found it in the Cambria county PA historical records I dont know any more.
Joseph Tripoli was my Fathers Brother and his wife was and still is Rosemary. I can't find her anywhere in Ancestry.com
Maybe they were all Mafia and botched the records so they couldn't be found right?

Oh your question. I don't have Pauls manifest and I can only pull up a few things of him on the Ancestry site. All his brothers came over as far as I know.
Its funny how they all lived together in a pac when they came over. I live in the Bay Area of California now and I see the asians and Mexicans all do the same and I said to myself how can they live like that? That was before I started this search

What US vital records have you obtained to get the parents names for Paul? Complete marriage record (you want the application even more than the certificate)? SS application? Death certificate?

Have you obtained death certificates for Joseph & Grace Terrizzi?.....Also should provide birth town & parents names.

These records plus the birth records for Paul's & Anna's children should provide/verify town of origin (Torregrotta).

Now, the LDS Church (Mormons) have filmed the civil registries (BMD) for Torregrotta from 1866 to 1910 & we can & will provide the film information for you, but the question is, do you want it now or after verification?.......The more information you have from US records, the easier you will be able to trace the correct families through the filmed records.

I have none of what you ask. My mother left little and who would have known I would want to find it later in life. I should have asked when i could. However, if one doesn't have hand me down documents is there any way to dig them up?
