Their address growing up was 724 Bowery Street.

What I can't find is anything at all on Anthony Rinella. We believe he came from Termini Imerese to Canada. For some reason, my grandmother, Catherine went to Canada and that's where they met. That would explain why Joseph and my mother, Rose was born in Canada, then they came back to Ohio.
My grandfather, Anthony, was a huckster in Canada. (not sure what that is but that's what I was told. Grocer??)
Probably a Canadian Census for the Ontario area around 1910 might have his name?

Did you say where in Canada the family lived? There is a 1911 Census online and Ontario does have birth/death ans marriage certificates online as well. Would be interested in knowing which province.

Hi again. Yes they did live in Ontario. The only ones I remember lived in Toronto. Almost downtown. I even remember the street was Palmerston Square, but that was in the 60's. Toronto would be the place to check though.

Ok, I know where that is actually..its not far from where I live. I'll see what I can find for you. Not a lot of records from that time frame online but there are a few for Rinellas from earlier on.

That would be wonderful. I'm not sure if that's where they were at that time, but I do remember them saying that they had been there a long time. We visited relatives named Caruso back then also at that address. There was a Frank Rinella that had a deli downtown. I remember walking to it. I'm not sure how the Caruso's were related. I know a had to call them Uncle Joe and Aunt Maria and they had a couple of kids. Rosa and Elena I think. (long time ago!)
