Nunzio Mattiello relatives

Over 25 million Italians have emigrated between 1861 and 1960 with a migration boom between 1871 and 1915 when over 13,5 million emigrants left the country for European and overseas destinations.

My name is Matthew and I'm from Bayonne, NJ. Vincenzo Mattiello is my great-Grandfather. According to what my grandfather told me when he was still alive, most of the Immigrants from Pomigliano either settled in Bayonne, or East New York. My Grandfather Dominic and his brother Luigi were sent back to Napule for high school and college. I believe Uncle Louie was raised at 'a Maserria Mattiello, and my granfather @ 'a Masseria LaMontagna( with his mother's family). Oddly enough, both brothers changed the name to Mattielli (long story), and the rest of the family remained Mattiello. Either way, my grandfather kept close contact with most of his family in Pomigliano until his passing two years ago. He was my best resource for family history, but I will ask my great-Aunt if she knew of a Nunzio.
