Over 25 million Italians have emigrated between 1861 and 1960 with a migration boom between 1871 and 1915 when over 13,5 million emigrants left the country for European and overseas destinations.

Can anyone tell me what it means when box 13 "Declared" is marked under citizenship? Thanks

My father was born in the US in 1913. If my grandfather was not yet naturalized in 1917, does that mean I am eligible for Italian citizenship?
