Does anyone know how I would go about obtaining a court order to release the medical records for my grandmother. I am still in the process of trying to find out what her maiden name was but I was just wondering what the process would be just in case I need that in the furture.

Where will you be applying to? USA, Canada, UK, Italy????
Each would doubtless have a different system for appling and a different court system.
Where would you be applying FROM will also be important, as you may need to go (initially) via a consulate!

I would be applying in the state of Illinois, I think probably in Cook County because that is where the facility has the records from the original facility that my grandmother was in.
