Can't make out town name

Post by BillieDeKid »

Can anyone make out the name of the town that the bride was from. Her husband to be and father-in-law are from Simbario her father is from Brognaturo and the town she resides in looks like Serapiatini but I can't find it or anything close to that spelling on the map.

Also, where the brides mother's name should be are the letters N. N. what does that mean?

the name towns wrote are:
-groom born and residentin Simbario and bride born and resident in Brognaturo, no more name towns mentioned in this record...

N.N.= Nomen Nescio( latin)=no name, unknown name( in this case no mother name)

Thanks suanj,

I'm glad you could tell what it was. Brognaturo for Francesco was very clear (the B and r) for her not so clear for me. I have N.N. on several of my documents, now I know what it means.

Thank you once again for your help.

Regards,
Elizabeth
