1887 - 1889 time frame.Then New Jersey
Donato Basile married Antonia D'Augustino.

No, she would more than likely retain her maiden name. That was the custom. The odd time you found a married woman would travel under her married name (usually if traveling with the husband) but otherwise not.

Can you confirm any of this information as accurate? Do you know the names of any siblings of Donato or Antonia? There are a lot of Basiles going to Patterson or Passaic, they may be relatives.
