Have you tried something as simple as an Italian telephone directory search?

Visit PagineBianche. It and give it a shot. Cognome = surname, Nome = given name, Dove = where/what location (city name).

If you get any likely hits, you could try writing a letter...

If you are the legitimate son of your father, you same- by yourself -can write directly in the Common and to ask the research by residence registries or other sources... what was your father name? suanj

I'm really not sure this would help and I'm sure you have already seen this but you could give it a shot...someone might be able to help.

Of course, suanj is the expert. She has found more than one "missing" person in her life! :D

Dear Nuccia:
"Napoli mia" restaurant, owner: Corrado Del Gaizo; now..: it is the same that we are looking for or a grandson (with same name)?
for to know the reply...: if never Corrado given the surname to child, the search in the Napoli common is impossible( privacy law) and the only chance is to write directly or to phone... and because saying " He studied English in Liverpool, UK..." in a previous message, I believe that travers01
can speak in english directly, because Corrado must to know the language....
kisses, suanj
