I've heard that the Consulate in Boston only accepts certified certificates from Vital Statistics. Is this true? I have long form, certified records from the cities/towns themselves.
Thanks,
Luca

If your certified documents can be apostilled, then I'm pretty sure Boston will accept them. But the Consulate has the last word, of course.
The link is to Mass. Sec. State--who does the apostilles.

Hi Peggy, thanks for the link!
It seems like my documents can be apostilled as they were signed by the city/town clerks. I'll confirm with the consulate.
Best,
Luca
