Fara San Martino,province Chieti, Italy
Am searching mainly ORSATTI, DI/DE CECCO, TAVANI, SCIARRA , VERNA as well as other inter-related families in this village in the Abruzzo.
Youir best bet then is to go to the mcirofilm for Fara San Martino for the civil records of these surnames dating back to 1809 to 1900. Go to the family History library of the Mormon church nearest your home. if you wish to explore other reseaches for these names athen go to www.google.com and insert surname and genealogy in the title. I am researching the surnames Sciarra, Ippolito, Luberti (Loberto) and Piacentro (Piacentino) all from Fara San Martino.

The Family History Center has microfilm that you can order and rent for about $3.50 a roll. Here are the film numbers for the town of Fara San Martino.

Thanks for the suggestion. I have been going to the Family History Center for 10 years and I have films from every commune I'm researching. I was hoping to connect with actualy people that may be researching the same surnames from this commune.brujaojos wrote:Hi there,Ritametermaid wrote:I am researching the surnames Sciarra, Ippolito, Luberti (Loberto) and Piacentro (Piacentino) all from Fara San Martino.
