thanks to member Eleven for suggest and opinion: Illinois don't have all the civil records online. Maybe the next year they said complete the cook county (Chicago).- I'm waiting.

thanks to member wldspirit : i know the cook county civil record online but is very limited...like member lilbees remember to me (frequent time i don't have all the information to request a certificate. At this moment i purchase only the document on line and payable with credit card. Other method don't work for me.)

best regards
I'm searching lost relatives and descendant of my greatgrandfather Vincenzo Genualdi (or Gennaldi or Genuardi) and my greatgrandmother Concetta Davola (their sons: Angela, Carmela, Antonio, Bartolomeo, Ernesto, Simone, Riccardo, Maria) went in Chicago,Ill., and New Orleans, in 1880-1920 from Sicily. Other family related : Jacobucci or Jacopucci (from Central Italy).

From the Chicago Tribune Newspaper on Ancestry, there are many
Genualdi persons listed for Chicago.

Have you seen this site?

Chicago Genealogy

This site has some online indexes, and they can perform lookups for a
mere five US dollars.....it may be worth looking into.

I know this is an older thread, but my great grandmother is Rosa(Rose or Rosina) Genualdi, from mussomeli. The records I found online say she was born in 1905 though I’m not certain. She married Giovanni Arini and immigrated to queens New York

Hi Stephanie, welcome..
where have you found records about your relatives?
Maybe we can find some records on italian website "http://www.antenati.san.beniculturali.it/".
There are Civil Records from Mussomeli: have you date of birth or marriage about your relatives?
Let me konow..
greetings from Palermo
