In Italy you require the place of birth in order to obtain records and documents. If you do not know the place of birth it is very difficult to find the information. Perhaps from your grandfathers birth record in the Hague there will be more information as the place they came from. Usually when people say the city of the province they can also mean a surrounding town or village for birth,marriage or death and records are in the surrounding town or village and NO where else. I have some Peverelli's in my tree and would be interested in hearing from anyone with a connection:

Giovanni Antonio Peverelli born around 1850 in Laglio, Lombardy son of Luigi Antonio Peverelli and Francesca Lamberti married Maria Bacciarelli on 28 Sept 1880 in Gera Lario, Como, Lombardy and died on 4 Feb 1914 in the same area. Maria Bacciarelli born around 1855 and died on 23 Oct 1883 also in Gera. Maria is daughter of Antonio Bacciarelli and Mavora/Marvoriglia Dell'Orr/Dell'Oro

They had two children Maurilla Francesca Peverelli (b 1881) and Antonio Pietro Peverelli (b 1883). Antonio married Ida Ester Dell'Oca daughter of Giacomo and Caterina and they married in Andolo, Val de Non, Trentino, Italy. Maurillia married Carlo Giacomo de Pianto son of Luigi Antonio de Pianto and Rosa Oreggia. They had a son Antonio de Pianto who married Luigina Ghislanzoni - all appeared to remain in Gera Lario.

Giovanni Antonio Peverelli was married twice - his second wife was Paulina Galloni who he married in 1886.
