If there is any help out there in the genealogy world, maybe you could help me here. My last name is Ignomirello. Originally "Ignomeriello" from Giovinazzo, Italy.
I found an article from a Mondo Basilicata piece titled: The Strong Stance of Potenza Chamber of Commerce About Emmigration in 1874. Within this summary, from an article of Luigi Calabrese, there is a photograph. Next to the photograph it says: "Collezione Privata Fam. Ignomirelli."
Question 1- COULD this family be related to me?
Question 2- How does one go about finding the rest of the photographs from the Private collection of the Ignomirelli family?

Possible......but only thru proper documentation going back one generation at a time can you make a true connection. Otherwise, it's just speculation.

Thanks for all your help and support! I think Medical school would have been easier! I'll be making yet another trip to the church and looking at more micro-fiche! Ciao! ~JM~
