My paternal grandparents were from Reggio Calabria, possibly Sersale or Catenzaro.
My grandfather's name was Antonio Rizzetta, grandma was Teresa Calabrese.
My grandfather returned to Italy to bring his mother, Philomena Rizzetta to the United States.
Hi and Welcome to the Forum!
Just for reference, are these the correct census records?

Yes that is my grandfather & Mother's census I noticed that it states he lived in PA first? I dont know how your printed off so nicely Maybe he arrived at a port in PA. His mothers Filomena (Esposito Bonita) Rizzetta came also not sure on the year I have checked Ellis Island with no results although I did pay to have my grandfathers name put on the Wall of Honor its possible he never came through Ellis.

I am more interested in how and when they came here (Grandpa made several trips) and if there are any brothers and/or sisters

Thanks

Hey Lucy!

I'm sorry, I should have explained the census notations:
Na = naturalized citizen
Pa = filed 1st papers for citizenship.

Do you have your grandfather's manifests?

Thanks!

Filomena would have lived with her son Antonio when she came here. I dont understand 1st papers? Does that mean there are no papers for second or more trips? I do not have any manifest on any of the Rizzetta family. Im not sure if the Antonio Rizzetta that is listed on Ellis 1928 is my grandfather, it is possible that was one of his trips, rather than go into the entire story he did have a wife that he left in Italy who later settled in PA
