Looking for some info...please

I haven't been here in forever. Hi Trish and Mj if you are still posting here.

I've received much new information from last time, but I think I ran into a wall. I have a subscription to ancestry.com, but it hasn't been cooperating in finding to much info for me.

I was just sending this out there to see if maybe someone could find the following:

Cristina Sciortino (maiden name who married a Cordova)
Born 11/3/1823 - Past away on 9/8/1920
Came from Bagheria on 11/21/1912 alone (widowed at the time)
--Looking for census info. Current have Ellis Island report.

Francesca Belfiore (madien name who married Giovanni Cordova)
Born around 1866 and past in 5/17/1923
Came to NY on March 23, 1907
--Looking for any relevant info
--I believe Francesa's sister married a Russo (on the same side of my family)

Any help is greatly appreciated

Yes, I do believe that is Cristina. That's incredible how you had found that.

On my records, I had Cristina married to Salvatore (possible Salovator Americanized?). The birthdate and death date, etc. everything else matches as well.

Giovanni (Joseph) Cordova was my 2nd great grandfather.

Valarie, did you utilize any search engine to find that?

Hello- I am the great great great grand daughter of Sal and Christina cordova! Salvatore and Christina had son- Giovanni - who married francesca be fiord, who in turn had 9 children- one of which is my great grandfather- guisseppe (Joseph) . Guisseppe had 19 children- only which 10 lived to adult hood including my grandmother! I would love to learn more about our family- I have started a family tree on mundia.com.
