I've been looking thru the records already provided in a previous thread,
a clear summary needs to be provided.
While I am working on that, I found this to be interesting:

June 1928 Manifest

1924 Manifest

A brief summary of previous records found by member VJ:

Saverio Napolitano
Birth: 1868 - 1870 Avella, Italy
Death: 1929 Tenefly, New Jersey (provided by poster)
Parents:
Father: ?
Mother: ?

Wife:
Maria Sgambati
Birth: 1876 - 1877 Avella Italy
Death: 1954 Tenefly, New Jersey (provided by poster)
Parents:
Father: ?
Mother: Angela Di Fabio

Marriage: About 1893

Children: Based on ship manifest, census and draft registrations:
Rather confusing to say the least....

According to ship manifest:
Guerino 1897 Italy
Vincenzo 1899 Italy
Giuseppe 1906

1910 census: Humphrey St Englewood New Jersey

Barnes 1894 Italy
Channing 1899 Italy
Redmond 1901 New York
Joseph 1904 New York
Jennie 1907 New Jersey
Angelina 1909 New Jersey

1920 census: 57 Humphrey Englewood New Jersey

Rizo 1904 New York
Samuel 1906 New Jersey
Joseph 1908 New Jersey
Jennie 1910 New Jersey
Lena 1912 New Jersey
Frank 1914 New Jersey
Teresa 1917 New Jersey

1930 census: 79 Humphrey Englewood New Jersey

Lena 1911 New Jersey
Frank 1913 New Jersey
Tederina 1918 New Jersey
Peter 1922 New Jersey

The 1918 WW1 draft list 53 Humphrey Street. The WW2 draft list 79 Humphrey, matching the 1930 census.
The manifest of 1924 list 57 Humphrey Street, matching the 1920 census.

In 1910 Saverio states he has filed first papers, in 1920 he states he was naturalizd in 1907, and the manifest of October 11 1924 list no naturalization date but a passport was issued on July 15, 1924.

Based on what has been found to date, I would have to agree with VJ that if any naturalization occured, it would be in the state of New Jersey.
Note that the son Samuel was born in New Jersey in 1906, Jennie in 1907.

Hello again,.
I finally just got a copy of my GREATx3 grandfathers naturalization papers. I was hoping someone could help me. What papers would have a picture on them. I have: Petition for naturalization. Affidavits of petitioner and witnesses, oath of allegiance, Order of court admitting petitioner, and finally the Certificate of Naturalization no. 540440 dated for the certificate is Sept 3, 1925. I would love someone to help me in showing you these docs, I cant figure out how to load them. These papers came from NJ.

Are you familiar with any uploading program such a imageshack? The best way to show us the documents is scan them to your computer and save them (no bigger than 780x1040 I think would be the best size). Then upload them to the program and provide the link.

Some programs for you to consider:
