Help with this sentence....

Post by fjrosaio »

Can someone please tell me what my cousin is trying to say to me here?

I know that she is saying that Enzo is very excited about my arrival, however the second part of the sentence I don't quite understand. She seems to be saying that he has made an agreement with me, but I think I may be translating too literally.

This is the sentence in question:

"Enzo è molto eccitato per il tuo arrivo, ti metterai d'accordo con lui."

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Hi Frank,

not agreement but "arrange", maybe to arrange a tour or similar..

best regards
I'm searching lost relatives and descendant of my greatgrandfather Vincenzo Genualdi (or Gennaldi or Genuardi) and my greatgrandmother Concetta Davola (their sons: Angela, Carmela, Antonio, Bartolomeo, Ernesto, Simone, Riccardo, Maria) went in Chicago,Ill., and New Orleans, in 1880-1920 from Sicily. Other family related : Jacobucci or Jacopucci (from Central Italy).
