Looking for Stanco, Loiacono, Finamore and Berardi
Looking for Stanco, Loiacono, Finamore and Berardi
Hi, I'm starting my research and am looking for info on the following names: Stanco, Loiacono, Finamore and Berardi. I'm not even sure what Italian towns the names come from(at least one name is from Bari), although I suspect Stanco came from Sturno to NY in the early 1900's, and Loiacono left Italy for Montreal, also in the early 1900's. I wish I had more info to go on. If anyone can help me put some pieces together I'd appreciate it! Thanks!

Re: Looking for Stanco, Loiacono, Finamore and Berardi
I am a Berardi descendant. Finally got some breakthroughs recently - maybe I can help a little? What exactly are you looking for?
Also, as an aside, I worked with a young woman whose name was 'Stango' whose family emigrated from Sturno, Italy - I'm sure it is the same - with a spelling variation as we discussed it iat length. She resides in Milwaukee, WI.
Regards,
Wolff
