Cosenza archive access on line

Post by Donald66 »

Has anyone be able to access the Cosenza archive on line recently?

I was attempting to access the records via the Portale della Storia degli italiani website.

Both times that I tried to register, no link to activate my account was sent to me. I sent an e-mail requesting assistance to the tech services address for the site, but the e-mail was returned as undeliverable. :( :(

Hello!
I haven't had any trouble (AOL), but I have heard of folks that have.
You may want to try setting up a free gmail or yahoo email acct.
Good luck! Valarie

Opened a gmail account and got access :D :D :D

Found my grandfather's birth record :D :D :D

Does a service exists that can assist with the Italian Citizenship process?

Donald if no one answers you or know what the answers are then why not call up the consulate in NY yourself and ask him what you want to know. =Peter=

There are other online archives, but they are few and far between. What town are you looking for? I have an ongoing site in progress for all transcribed records......
