How do I address a letter to Pertralia Sottana and Resuttana

I'm preparing letters to the Stato Civile in both Petralia Sottana and Resuttana....would appreciate info on how to address each envelope. TIA, Jack

Well - this is a real mystery. I certainly did my 'search' with the correct name PETRALIA SOTTANA, and when the page I wanted gave me the address I just copied it, added the required office and set the 'lay-out' for how the envelope should be.

But what ever. You are quite right, the town name IS Petralia Sottana, but the address you gave I didn't see on my link: >Petralia Sottana< which is the same link as yours.....

No I didn';t even know that Google was translating anything save for the tuttitalia websites.Mercifully, I don't have any need for one of those "the hill I go up" electronic translators. My bane of existence is remembering certain words that my dialect references make no mention. I have to rack my brains trying to remember the words used by my grandparents and the way people spoke when I spent my errant youth in Matera. =Peter=
