Hello Michaud,

Sorry but I never receive your email, and I forget about the topic, but in the last days I remenber about it and satr a research again.

In a past chat, somebody put and information of manifesto arrival in this link
http://www.ellisisland.org/EIFile/popup ... &line=0004

In there you can see that Simplicio Villa, That is my gradfather, arrive in 1920, was his second entrance to USA and arrive to the house of his cousin Biagio Iezzi. that's correspond with my granfather SV and with the link above.

In somewhere in this chat, you pointed that was a Biagio that sign the wedding certificate belongs to your Granfather Simplicio Villa that's not is the same of mine.

The wedding certificate of yours grandparent is from NS, Canada, I found this in
https://www.novascotiagenealogy.com/Ite ... &ID=156366

I think that the name of your grandmother was Mary Carbal and she born in Austria.

There is a person that was a Witness and was a lady and her name there is "Giovanella Baggio", so my grandfather cousin was a man, his name was Biagio and his last name is Iezzi, the witness in your grandparents wedding certificate is a woman and her name was "Giovanella" and her lastname was "BAGGIO" not Biagio and Biagio is a name no a lastname.

Also the father of my grandfather SV was Domenico, tha's why in our family are many Domenico's, in the wedding certificate of your grandfather, the name of the father of your Simplicio Villa is Antonio, is pretty clear there.

Only few coincidence, They both had the same name Simplicio Villa, they both born in Celano, Italy, your born in 1893, mine born in 1895 and we know that the second last name of my SV was IEZZI, so when I found the arrival manifesto in 2001 of my grandfather, I could certify that Biaggio Iezzi was his cousin by my grandfather mother.

Well I hope that you can find what you are looking for, good luck and if I can help you in something, I will be a pleasure.

Regards

Hi,
My Grandmother Viola Carbol had a sister named Marie Rozalie Carbol who married Simplicio Villa. Was he sometimes called James?
They lived in Nova Scotia before relocating to Canmore Alberta .
Pretty sure this is the same family.
