When I was in Maratea in Sept., I was told at the City Hall that around 1840 there was a fire and so they did not find any information. But then, you ¡¡¡YES !!! Who sent me information about Carmen Cernicchiaro who had asked her.

The civil records only go back to 1809 before that you would have request church records from Santa Maria Maggiore
