pec email addresses in Italy are for official business (normally govt or registered businesses). It's like certified mail, I believe, but the average person can't use it.

You're very welcome. Unfortunately, it's a hit or miss as to whether a town will reply to a regular email. You just never know, and sometimes you may not initially get a response and then another time you will.

In my presence Vincenzo Forcella the civil records official of Teora, province Avellino appeared Pasquale Mignone age 38 tailor son of Giuseppe and Michele Giallanello age 60 shoemaker son of deceased Pasquale domicile in Teora, that they declared to me, that at 4:10 AM today the same year as above in a house on via Mezza Corta#1 the death of Giuseppe Valvano age 81 farmer born and resides in Teora son of deceased Gaetano Valvano and deceased Cotra Cicilia ???? husband of Maria Giuseppa Caruso daughter of deceased Angelo.
The presentation and the declaration of the above mentioned is made in the presence of Raffele Restaino age 60 coach driver and Donatrillo Alfonso di Rocco age 52 farmer both residents of the same town . They were read the present act and declared information was correct. They all signed the death act the civil official,and the four witnesses
