There is no Italian in my results. However, I am 13% France and 7% Scandinavian, which sounds similar to the results you discuss. Chiavari is in the NW corner of Italy. However, it is also close to France and there were wars between the two. Is there any thought that the Lucchetti's might have been from France?
Chiavari was part of the French Empire under Napoleon's reign (1806-1814), so that might have something to do with it.

Sardinian dna

Post by richebabes »

I know my birth father is Sardinian but on heritagedna and ancestry dna not even a suggestion of this. It is showing mainly Eastern Europe or Germanic.

On my gedmatch it has 3% greek and about 15% balkans which is a bit closer.

So not really been very helpful
I was adopted as an infant..trying to trace SARDINIAN birth father..ANTONIO FIORI..any help on how I can go about this
