Thank u very much Suanj, that helped me out a lot. Can anyone help with more info about him or any other of Giuseppe's other children?
Re: Mirabella Family
Hey guys, I haven't been researching this too much for awhile, but recently I found out I was researching one of the wrong people. The man on this forum Giuseppe Mirabella wasnt married to Catarina Cavalla, he was married to Catarina Nicoletti. She was born in 1875 in Italy (most likely Calabria) She had a sister Rosa who married a Giuseppe Vito. and I also know that her mother was Maria - born circa 1839 - her maiden name might have been something along the lines of Salavage. Any info would be amazing and I thank everyone in advance.

This same record is on the Family.org website under:vj wrote:NYC records (continued from earlier post):
For example, according to census records, Giuseppe & Caterina were probably married after their arrival in NY
(also, no children born in Italy)

I believe Caterina married for first Michele Cavallo, maybe he died and she married Giuseppe Mirabella? This is the reason on the Italgen. org website she was listed with her first husband's lastname....

Re: Mirabella Family
you are right Laura; after Michele Cavallo death (??), Caterina married at Giuseppe Mirabella:
Maribello Giuseppe Jan 4 1898 831 (1898) Manhattan
Cavalla Caterina Jan 4 1898 831 (1898) Manhattan
the surnames are a bit mispelled, but no doubt that they are the right persons...

Re: Mirabella Family
Can anyone help me out with some more info about the Mirabellas? Im looking for info about the parents of the above Giuseppe Mirabella.
They were: Fedilo Mirabella & Anna Pasquali; They were from Calabria; and had at least one other child Battista (born 1865).
Maybe someone can find other children of theirs or any info on Fedilo & Anna.
One other thing I need help on is finding the death date for Giuseppe Mirabella (born Dec. 1874) - he died around ~1956, but I havent found any proof of that as of yet. Anything at all will be a great help.
Thanks so much,
Nick

Re: Mirabella Family
Hey guys,
Hopefully someone can help me out with this. I've been doing some research and found a man named Salvatore Mirabelli (born in 1865 in Cassano allo Ionio, Calabria) who I think might be Giuseppe & Battista's brother. Can anyone find any other info on him or possibly link him as a brother. I really appreciate it.
Thanks so much,
Nick

Re: Mirabella Family
The Mirabile family has changed the spelling of their last names a few times. Mirabile, Muabbello, Mirabelle, Mirabello, Mirabelli and Marabella. The Marabella's in my family are from Cortale, Maida and Sambiase and reside in Winchester, Massachusetts (85 Oak street) and Florida and Vermont.
Antonio Marabella married my great aunt Rose Maiorano in Boston, Massachusetts in 1916, Rose was just 16 years old. I'm pretty sure Antonio had many siblings, I believe Domenica, Francesco, Tommaso and Giuseppe were a few of his siblings, Salvatore was his Uncle. Antonio and Rose Marabella had eight children and they had children so it's a large family. Antonio was born 1-1-1894 and passed away 12-27-1958. Antonio's mom's last name was Sacco.
