Screaminmonkey, even if you are scared to call (there is not reason to be like that) consulate is not answering any email or phone calls if someone wants to know the status of your pending case.
Too many pending cases, and also they are overlwhemlming of work.....
Usually consulate says just wait, we will let you know.
The only thing you must do is to state to consulate if move your legal residence somewhere else, so they can reach you when it will be the time.
