:) :)
Helle everone,

Janice I have had a look for the addresses you provided for Wallasey, Wirral.

I have found Florence Street, and hopefully I have attached images (if its gone right). Park Street as been redeveloped post war and 41 does not exist any more. I can not find Bell Street but when I'm back in work on Tuesday I have address finder software so I'll locate it then.
Using GIS software I have generated these images for your family history research.

Also I have inclued the lad registry website where once you register can find out who owns deeds for the houses. It might be worth waiting untill I'm back in work before searching because I will be able to get full addresses.

Oops I forgot to give info,
Image 1 is a overview of Wirral
Image 2 (Top right) is OS Mapping for 1899 after Florence Street was built
Image 3 bottom left is 1876 map overlaid and made transparent with the modern map (in blue) underneath to put in to context of chage through time.
Image 4 is modern mapping of Florence Street with 44 highlighted.

In summary a terraced house built between 1876 and 1899 more than likely to accomadate the influx in dock based work at Birkenhead (just across the river from Liverpool)

Hope this explains

I looked at this census over and over again when we were looking for Gertrude and thought it was interesting but now I'm curious to hear what you guys think.

My father was Richard C. giaquinto - born `1920 and emigrated to US from Aiello del Sabato with his mother Kathryn (Katrina Saporito Giaquinto) and his other brother Antonio (Anthony J. Giaquinto b. 1923 about) My dad's name was Virgilio Vincente Carmine Giaquinto. HIs father came thru Ellis Island 2x before my grandmother came in 1925 or 1926 on the Columbus (?) ship from Italy. Antonio, my grandfather, came and settled in NJ with my great uncle (my grandmother, Kathryn (later Janelli) Saporito Giaquinto's brother Sam Saporito Sr. and his wife Rosa. My grandmother and grandfather also had a son Michael between 1920 and 1923 who died of childhood illness in Italy. My grandparents also had two more children Constantina (Constance, Connie, Nina) Giaquinto nee Zachary nee Cohn and Helen(a) Giaquinto DeDominicis after they were both in the US. My grandfather died of a heart attack, so they say, via doing electrical work - he was not an electrician - in a wet basement and got elecytrocuted - His piasanos helped him out and gave him liquor - something killed him during the incident. This is probably my family. Rumor has it that my grandfather Antonio had a brother or cousin who was also Giaquinto who settled in Philadelphia but that is unknown. Let me know who you are.....Donna Giaquinto

Hey guys

This is my horoscope for today

"A welcome letter or phone call - or perhaps even a visit - could come from a lover or close friend who brings interesting news your way. Your creative energies are bubbling over, janice, and so you might want to try your hand at writing, music, drawing or painting. You might find yourself sending some letters or placing a lot of phone calls, or making a lot of short journeys in your near neighborhood, maybe to libraries or bookstores."

should have been for friday
