Transcription/Translation of birth record 103

Post by midnightamethyst »

The record is located on FamilySearch here.

I have attempted a partial transcription/translation, but I'm struggling with the handwriting in some places, especially in the second half of the record.

My attempt is below:
L’anno milleottocentosettanta[nove] on the [quattordici] di [agosto] a ore (left blank on form) meridiane [dodici] e minuti (left blank on form), nella Casa comunale.
Avanti di me, [ ].

The year 1879, on the 14th of August in hours (left blank on form) noon 12 and minutes (left blank on form), in the Municipal Hall.
Before me, [ ].
Registrar of the Municipality of Borzonasca, it appeared Brizolara Giulio Cesare, of age [45 ] residing in [ Municipality] and he has declared that at the hour [ ] noon [ ] and minutes (left blank on form), of the day eleven of the current month, in the house placed in [ , Brizolara,] to the number 48, from Sbarbaro Luigia, his wife, [ ] living with him was born a baby of the female sex that [ ] introduces me, and he gives her the name of Virginia Maria.
The above and this act were attended by witnesses [ ] of age 50, owner, and [ ] of age 70 both residents in this Municipality.

Thank you!!

There are 8 lines under what we've translated that I can't read. Are you able to determine what it says?

I have done my best to figure out what the 8 handwritten lines say, but there are a handful of words I'm not sure I read correctly. I have underlined the words I am 100% unsure about. Again, the document is on FamilySearch, located here

Felice Maschio
Cavalli GiamBastista
Gazzolo Gianno

I was exempt from declaring the aforementioned
baby ( ) otherwise
ascertaining the truth of birth.
Read this document to all ( ) and me
under ( ) the unregistered registrant.

The declarant was dispensed by me (the official) from presenting the child after having ascertained the veracity of the birth.
I read the document to all the participants and they signed below with me except for the declarant who was illiterate.
